Donna ‘Tinker’ Caldwell, 59
Donna “Tinker” Caldwell, 59, passed away Nov. 1, 2017, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born July 12, 1958, in Seward, Alaska, and raised by her adoptive parents, Clarence and Florence Caldwell.
Tinker’s door and heart were always open to strays; whether furred, finned or folks from all walks of life. She loved fishing, camping, floating on the Coeur d’Alene River and the outdoors. She was an adventurous soul with a great sense of humor who sported tattoos, rode Harleys and fixed both cars and dinner for her family. She was an amazing and loyal partner, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to those lucky enough to have gone through life with her. She will be remembered every day.
She is survived by her partner, Kim Strong; her children, Sammi Jo Caldwell, William Strong and Amanda Strong; her sister, Florine Caldwell; her nieces, Keela Marie and Kallie Janae Francis; and grandkids, Cydney, Morgan and Emerson.
An open house will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at the home of Kim Strong, 3902 Broken Arrow Road, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
