Mildred M. Seelig, 104

Mildred Marion (Moore) Seelig passed away on Nov. 9, 2017, at 9:05 p.m. PST, at the age of 104 years. A heart attack earlier in the day was the immediate cause. She had been residing with Sharron Sweeney in Post Falls, Idaho since moving from her longtime home in St. Maries, Idaho, in 2015.

Mildred was the last member of the 13 + 1 family of Fred Walter and Minnie May Moore; a generation of Moores, beginning in 1894 (Hafey) and ending in 2017. The torch is passed and that generation has been, and is, greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Seelig and grandson, Kevin Sweeney. Mildred is survived by sons, Clell Seelig, of Salinas, Calif., Kent Seelig, of Yakima, Wash., and daughter, Sharron Sweeney, of Post Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
