Leslie Warren Ratcliff, 97, and Ethel M. Ratcliff, 96

Leslie W. Ratcliff, known to many as Warren Ratcliff, passed away peacefully on Oct. 21, 2017, at the age of 97. He was born Oct. 26, 1919 to Les and Anna Ratcliff in Ritzville, Wash.

Ethel M. Ratcliff was born Oct. 20, 1921 to Ernest and Nola Stewart in Four Lakes, Wash. and passed away peacefully on June 3, 2017 at the age of 96.

In February of 1941, they married and spent the next 76 years together.

They are preceded in death by brothers, sisters, and their two sons, Don and Gary Ratcliff.

They are survived by Ethel’s sister, June Labish of Cheney, Wash; their daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Steve Burris of Coeur d’Alene, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho. A reception will follow the service at the chapel, and a graveside service will be held at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens immediately after the reception. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to be made to the Warren and Ethel Ratcliff Scholarship Fund at North Idaho College.
