BARBIERI: Time to go

After reading the story about Rep. Barbieri and his abuse of his expense account, I must sincerely apologize for writing a letter in support of his election last fall.

Rep. Barbieri should be deeply ashamed of his behavior. Voters trusted him. He has betrayed that trust. This is a moral issue, not a partisan issue.

He should pay back the excessive expenses he has charged the public and immediately resign.

I am ashamed of him. He should be ashamed of himself, but perhaps that is asking too much.
