Coeur d'Alene police seek armed robbery suspect

COEUR d’ALENE — A suspect who allegedly brandished a black handgun while robbing the Dollar Tree store on Sunday night is being sought by Coeur d’Alene police.
Officers responded to the Dollar Tree, 406 Neider Ave., at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, where two employees said a man approached the cash register, showed the handgun and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the area, police reported.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 white man with short white hair and a white mustache, believed to be 45-50 years old. He was last seen wearing a tan and white plaid shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
