Dog show scheduled at fairgrounds

COEUR d’ALENE — Move over felines — this Memorial Day weekend, canines are taking the catwalk.

The Coeur d'Alene Dog Fanciers will be hosting its 22nd annual American Kennel Club-sanctioned All Breed Dog Show at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on Monday and Tuesday.

Visitors can expect to see more than 120 different breeds of dogs and meet experts in the various breeds to address problems and concerns they may have about their own dogs or those they are considering in the future. Vendors of various animal care products will also be on site.

Show hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The show is free and open to the public, with a $5 parking fee per vehicle.
