| May 23, 2017 3:09 PM

A video of constitutional scholar and author David Adler's May 11 lecture examining executive powers in the White House is now available for viewing.

Adler gave the talk, his sixth annual lecture, at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library.

Adler, president of the Alturas Institute, spoke on “Executive Orders and Executive Power in the Trump Presidency.” The program was made possible through a grant from the Idaho Humanities Council - the state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities -- and was also sponsored by the Coeur d'Alene Press, CDA-TV, and the Friends of the Coeur d'Alene Public Library.
