Lake City lacrosse to play for state title

CALDWELL — Lake City handled Meridian 8-5 in the semifinals of Idaho state lacrosse tournament on Friday at Simplot Stadium.

Matt Duchow and Cameron Chun combined for seven goals for Lake City, which faces Capital today at 11:30 a.m. at Simplot Stadium for the state championship.

Meridian — Goals: Ryan Ellis, Isaac Hatvani, Brady Grovreau, Tren Halliday, Bridger Wade. Assists: Elliis 2, Grovreau. Saves: Craig, 10.

Lake City — Cameron Chun 3, Matt Duchow 4, Zach Brown. Assists Sam Buckland. Saves  Briner, 1.
