Chang, Rottini capture state titles

MIDDLETON — Landon Chang of Coeur d’Alene Charter and Donovin Rottini of St. Maries were local winners Friday on the first day of the state 3A, 2A and 1A track and field meets at Middleton High.

Chang won the 3A boys 3,200 meters in 9 minutes, 43.69 seconds.

Rottini won the 2A boys shot put with a heave of 51 feet, 4 1/2 inches.
