North Idaho men finish second at SWOCC invite

BANDON, Ore. — Brady Nelson shot a 1-over 72 to finish second individually and the Cardinal men also finished in second place in the Southwestern Oregon Community College Invitational which concluded Monday at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.

The men played the Bandon Trails course on Monday, and the women took on Old MacDonald.

On the women’s side, Amalia Negrette shot 79 and Madi Brown shot an 82 to lead NIC to a fourth-place finish.

Megan Cysewski of Community Colleges of Spokane, formerly of Lakeland High, shot 83 on Monday to finish fifth after being tied for the lead after the first round.
