Body of missing Coeur d'Alene man found in Shoshone County
The body of a Coeur d’Alene man reported missing on Saturday morning was found in Shoshone County on Sunday morning, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said.
A vehicle belonging to Mark K. Arnold, 54, was found around 9 a.m. by searchers on Forest Service Road 335 in Shoshone County, near Hemlock Mountain.
A preliminary report from the KCSO said it appeared Arnold’s vehicle left the roadway and was subsequently involved in a rollover crash. The crash occurred approximately 2 miles from the Kootenai County line.
At the time Arnold was reported missing, he had not been heard from since Thursday afternoon. Arnold had told a family member he was headed out to pick mushrooms.
Shoshone County detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, the KCSO said.
