Robert ‘Bob’ Teall, 87

Robert Glenn “Bob” Teall, 87, of Dalton Gardens, Idaho, passed away May 8, 2017. He was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Coeur d’Alene to James G. and Olive M. Shawver Teall.

Bob married Mary Thomas on June 20, 1947. Bob started working at a young age setting pins at a bowling alley in Coeur d’Alene. He eventually found his place in sawmills, working for Diamond International and retiring from Louisiana Pacific as a quality control supervisor.

Bob loved to fish, read and grow tomatoes. In his final years, he spent most of his time with family and his beloved dog, Dopey.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; and his son, Steven Teall. He is survived by son Mike and daughter-in-law Sandi Teall of Post Falls; daughter Debra and son-in-law Dan Pierce of Dalton Gardens; grandchildren Teiko Szasz, Eric Teall, Rob McCammon, Jon McCammon and Erin Pierce; and great-grandchildren Cooper, Lucas, Caden and Landon Szasz.

The family requests that donations may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.

A visitation/viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with a graveside service planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene.
