Donna L. Thomas, 70, passed away suddenly April 2, 2017, at her sister’s home in Daytona Beach, Fla. She was born on March 20, 1947, in Seattle, Wash., to Don and Joy Campbell.

She was predeceased in life by her father, Don Campbell and stepmom, Rose Campbell.

Donna died due to a missed diagnose of colon cancer.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Brenda) Ward of Enumclaw, Wash.; three grandsons, Keith, Kyle and Brent Ward; mother Joy French of Coeur d’Alene; sister Janet (David) Tait of Daytona Beach; brother Bob Bessey of Chehalis, Wash.; sister Nita (Jack) Bickel of Great Falls, Mont.; ex-husband David Thomas of Federal Way, Wash.; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Donna graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1966 and moved to Seattle. She moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 2003. She loved walking by the lake and listening to oldies, rock and roll, and her cat, Bootsy. She was well-known for her Halloween and Christmas parties.

A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017, on the lake cruise boat she loved to ride.
