STORY: Moved by journey

I read The Press every single morning and have for 40-plus years. I’m blessed by the articles I read about people who live here and what they’ve gone through. “A Journey of Restoration” was painful to read. I can’t imagine what Deidre Ashmore went through, having to give her son up for adoption 47 years ago, but they were reunited and the journey begins. Their picture in The Press May 3 shows two happy people smiling and it just confirms that there are happy endings to painful decisions we have to make in our lives.

God bless you two and the many others who have had to make decisions like it.
