Souza to hold health care forum Saturday

State Sen. Mary Souza has rescheduled her Health Care Listening Forum for this Saturday, May 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the Coeur d’Alene Public Library Community Room.

This event will be different from the recent town halls.

Souza will make a brief opening statement and then listen to those who wish to share their ideas and priorities for health care in Idaho. This will be an information-gathering meeting which will offer guidance as the Idaho Legislature makes plans for the next session.

The event was scheduled to be held earlier this year, but it was canceled due to winter weather.

Attendees will be given three minutes to share their thoughts on health care.

Souza is vice-chair of the Idaho Senate Health and Welfare Committee.
