Marvin E. Storey, 72

Marvin E. Storey, 72, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died April 21, 2017, at Life Care Center in Hayden, Idaho.

Marvin was born on Dec. 20, 1944, to Marvin G. Storey and Ella Mae Bateman. He grew up in Nampa, Idaho, where he graduated in 1963. He attended the University of Idaho, for a short time, where he played golf. After that, he was a golf pro in the Boise area and golfed throughout the West.

Marvin moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1979. He worked at North Idaho Blue Print, bartender at the Lakers Inn, and worked at Esterline/AIS for the past 33 years, until getting sick.

Marvin was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Lee Storey of Michigan.

Marvin enjoyed watching sports, golf being his favorite. His other pastimes were supporting the Idaho Lottery and the Coeur d’Alene Casino.

He was a “true” gentleman … just ask his many friends and co-workers that will miss him dearly.
