Delavan joins Windermere team

Former Coeur d’Alene Airport Manager Greg Delavan has joined Windermere/Coeur d’Alene Realty.

A fourth generation Coeur d’Alene native who owns Delavan’s Marina in Walker’s Bay on Lake Coeur d’Alene, Delavan is also president of the Coeur d’Alene Lakeshore Property Owners Association, an organization that works to protect Lake Coeur d’Alene and the property rights of the lakeshore owners.

A licensed pilot since his military days in Key West, Fla., Delavan began his real estate career in the 1980s as vice president and general manager of Sandy Creek Airpark, a Florida fly-in community where you take your airplane home with you.

As Coeur d’Alene Airport director for more than 20 years, his primary duties were the safety of the flying public and to develop and lease airport properties with the primary goal of making the airport self-sufficient.
