Bret Allen Bradymire, 57

July 28, 1959 – April 17, 2017

Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and he enjoyed the carefree childhood we all had here. He attended Coeur d’Alene schools.

In the ’80s, Bret moved to Texas to be around his sister, Margy, who was usually able to keep him out of trouble. He returned home in the late ’80s after working for the public schools in the Houston area. Bret loved his motorcycle, camping with friends and gardening. He worked here planting trees in the woods. For all who knew Bret, you also knew what a character he was, continuing to laugh into his last hour.

Bret is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Newton and sister Margy Watkins. He is survived by his father, Wallace H. Bradymire (Brady); stepmother Hazel Bradymire (momma Hazel); brother David Bradymire; sisters Kim Carroll and Angie Burnett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Please join us for a graveside service at noon Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 Government Way, Coeur d’Alene. Please bring a written memory or final note of Bret to read.

Thanks to the staff at Lark’s Haven Assisted Living for taking such great care of Bret all these years. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Sarkis and Dr. Loss; as well as the great nursing staff at Kootenai Health for making his last days comfortable.
