Late pick saves win for Empire

SPOKANE — The Salt Lake Screaming Eagles (1-8) scored a touchdown with 2 seconds left, but the potential game-tying two-point conversion pass was intercepted, and the Spokane Empire (7-2) held on for a 31-29 victory in Indoor Football League play Sunday afternoon at the Spokane Arena.

Spokane travels to Sioux Falls on Saturday.
