TRUMP: Thanks, liberal media

| March 29, 2017 1:00 AM

I cannot help but laugh at the outrage of the Liberal Media. There’s nothing funny about their attacks on President Trump except for the reason they are doing so.

When Trump entered the presidential race the Mainstream Media, both TV and the Press, had a field day. They were hysterical about all the inane remarks Trump made and gave him unlimited free media coverage as they belittled and ridiculed him. You couldn’t turn on the TV or open a newspaper without seeing them tearing him down.

However, thanks to all the free coverage, the masses that had been downtrodden for the last eight years saw a champion emerging who could, hopefully, free them from the desecration of America that Obama had instituted. Trump’s message resonated with them and his support began to grow among the most unlikely groups. These included Independents, Evangelicals, minorities, and yes, even women.

Trump, an imperfect man like all of us, had fought his whole adult life to succeed. Yes, he made enemies along the way with his shrewd, tough, and sometimes questionable business dealings. But he usually won. When he entered the presidential race he fought just as hard — and he won the Republican nomination.

The Liberal Media rejoiced because they thought Trump would be the easiest candidate to beat. How wrong they were. When Florida went to Trump, they were disturbed. When several other “solid” Democratic states bailed, they panicked. When Hillary lost, they were devastated.

Now it is apparent that the Liberal Media actually helped to elect Trump with all their free coverage and they are outraged that their self-inflicted wounds are bleeding.

So, go ahead Liberal Media, lick your wounds, whimper, whine, bark and growl — but you lost, and will continue losing until you learn to stick to the real news and quit trying to shape public opinion with your Fake News and malicious attacks on our duly elected president. Repent and help us all to Make America Great Again.
