DOGS: Blame their owners

I didn’t want to resort to writing another schpeel on people who don’t clean up after their dogs but since Carol Cook brought it up, I’m compelled. Believe it or not, this bothers me more than most things because I walk my dog everyday.

I don’t blame the dogs. I blame the inconsiderate, clueless owners. I just can’t wrap my head around anyone who would just let their dog make a big fat stinky mess and then just leave it for someone else to step in or smell or take displeasure in.

I walk near Canal and Millview Lane and I sincerely believe that I am the only one who picks up. That’s how prevalent the piles are. It is illegal to litter. Isn’t it illegal to leave this mess? I realize there are far more pressing issues in this world, but I sincerely want to know what can be done. I’m tired of cleaning my shoes and my dog’s feet.
