AHCA: A sick feeling

| March 24, 2017 1:00 AM

The American Health Care Act as written will increase health care costs by thousands of dollars for those aged 50-64. With increased premiums and an age rating that allows health insurance companies to charge five times what younger Americans pay, this expense will be unmanageable for many like me.

Our health insurance cost will increase about $800 per month more than what I’m currently paying per the current rates. My husband is 60 years old and this “age tax” will hurt us drastically.

Congress, please do not pass this bill!
