YAHOO: Little help, please

| March 16, 2017 1:00 AM

Customer service is a thing of the past within some businesses. I have not been able to open my email through Yahoo. I have attempted to correct the problem online to no avail. I have tried calling every number I can find to speak to a live person with no luck. I did call (408) 349-3300 and this is the conversation that I had with the woman representing Yahoo.

I asked her could she give me a telephone number to call for technical problems? She replied, no I cannot. I said I have tried fixing the problem online with no luck. She replied, sorry I can’t help you. I said, I may cancel my service with YAHOO. She said, go ahead. I replied, can I have your name please? She said, I do not give out my name on the phone. I said, can I have your badge number? She said, I don’t have a badge number. I said, may I speak to your supervisor? She said, I have no way to transfer you to a supervisor.

By now I am furious. I said this is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Then I said, you are not the CEO of Yahoo to which she replied in a very smart tone, you are right ma’am, I am not the CEO of Yahoo. Then I hung up.

I still do not have access to my emails. Can anybody out there help? I am going to cancel my service…for sure!
