TRUMP: Leaping toward impeachment

| March 11, 2017 12:00 AM

I noticed that your articles about the Republican Town Hall meeting and the Lincoln Day Dinner sponsored by the Republican Party failed to mention the many protesters gathered at both events. This omission suggests to me that the protesters were silent and peaceful and I can personally attest that this was the case. I would like it stated for the record and acknowledged that the Republicans predicted that “bullies and miscreants” were expected for the events. The only bullying I saw was the scatological languages used against me in the Post Falls Church by a Republican supporter wearing a Buck Knives logo jacket.

Yes, many of us grandparents, great-grandparents and students are concerned about President Trump’s cronies’ pre-election contacts with Russians. Now it appears that our concerns were justified as we learned this week that despite Trump’s promise to use American steel in the Dakota Access Pipeline, the pipe will be made of Russian steel. I wonder how much of a profit Trump’s companies will make in this conflict-of-interest case? We’ll never know until we see Trump’s tax returns. The Russian collusion alone would be worthy of impeachment but I also believe Trump under the 25th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution is unfit to discharge his duties because of his mental detachment from reality; the latest example being Trump’s delusional charges that Obama tapped his phones.
