INDIVISIBLE: Peaceful visitors
The March 5 story about the Lincoln Day Dinner at The Coeur d’Alene Resort failed to mention the 60 peaceful protesters gathered outside to greet the dinner guests.
Since the organizers of the dinner made a specific point to warn the attendees of the “miscreants and bullies” who might show up and The Press ran that story, readers might want to know the details about the predicted riot.
Indivisible North Idaho (the protesters) is a group of local citizens who hope to see our federal and state legislators put some daylight between themselves and the oppressive policies of President Trump. As Rep. Labrador was quoted, “Idaho wants to be the best it can be.” This includes health care for all, public school funding, protection for our amazing environment and many other progressive values.
