CAT: What about abortion?

In regard to the cat that was tortured, I agree that this treatment of an animal is reprehensible. Whomever is responsible is a twisted individual who needs to be punished and counseled. But at the same time, what I find also reprehensible is the fact that many of those same individuals who are outraged at this act against this cat, have no qualms whatsoever about terminating the life of their own fully developed, half grown child that they are carrying. There is something seriously wrong with a society that is OK with this.
