LAKELAND: No more money

Vote NO on upcoming Lakeland 272 school levy! Past three levies they promised us our kids would get for every ninth-grader laptops for school work. That didn’t happen, but teachers got all new video cell phones. Right now we have three levies on our property taxes for Lakeland schools. What the school district doesn’t understand which is because we have a “Dr. of liberal arts” and how the hell does one get that? Running the schools. See your paid salary, then you take nine days off for Thanksgiving, two weeks off for Christmas, one week off for spring break, three months off for summer and every Friday off in January. You put us parents in a bind, especially single parents. We maybe get one week off for vacation, so how many times we get fired because you’re not in school? Day care costs for working people, but then you turn and text me to vote “yes” on a levy to take more of my money?

I think it’s time for you to budget, and work within your means NOW! NO MORE MONEY. We are tired of government overspending! The bank just ran dry! So maybe instead hiring “Dr. Of liberal arts” you should have hired a businessman, retired service person who knows how to use what they have to make it work. Three levies on my property taxes now, so you better start running lean, and get back to school.
