HITCHING POST: Religion unhitched

I just wanted to comment on The Hitching Post’s “ordeal.” The city passes an anti-discrimination law; the problem is that the law includes gays. And in a right wing evangelical area this is heresy. So The Hitching Post decides to use religion as an excuse to discriminate against gays. They even say they may turn themselves into a church.

Because being gay is a sin, but lying about being a church and using Christ’s name to turn a buck isn’t. The city folds, the money changers — I mean Hitching Post — is happy and now claims “religious freedom.” Freedom it will use to marry atheists, agnostics, Christian scientists and various other religions it may not agree with because the money isn’t gay money.

Hitching Post, you don’t stand for anything Christ did. I suggest you actually read the Bible sometime.
