LAWYERS: Let losers pay

I recently saw this in the news: “Idaho Senate backs bill to avoid new ‘loser pay’ rule for courts.
The Idaho Senate has unanimously passed legislation to keep Idaho’s current rule for when attorney fees should be awarded to the prevailing party in a civil case — rather moving to a new “loser-pay” system on March 1.”
This is a great example of what happens when the lawyers are running things. (The fox guarding the henhouse.) A loser pay system would greatly reduce the number of frivolous lawsuits, and at the same time put a lot of shyster lawyers out of business. The people of Idaho should revolt if the Senate gets their way on this.
