LETTER: To Donald Trump
Dear Mr. President,
My husband is a military veteran and I am a former military wife.
I watched your speech this week with great expectations for a new direction, but I am left with many unanswered questions.
First, what kind of Commander in Chief exploits a grieving widow for political gain, whose husband was killed because of your incompetence?
Keep your promises to take care of our veterans. Don’t build your silly $25 billion border wall. Use our hard earned tax dollars and build Veterans Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers.
You need to be honest about your Russian real estate connection.
We need to know how much money you were given by Putin’s Russian oligarch friends toward your real estate ventures. A real leader would welcome such an investigation.
The burden is on YOU, Mr. President, to lead by example and to show you are not corrupt, by showing us your tax returns.
What are you hiding, and whose side are you really on, Mr. President?
GERI DOUGLAS
