C. Ann Zeller, 76

On June 24, 2017, we lost our beloved mother C. Ann Zeller, 76, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born March 30, 1941, in Wallace, Idaho, to Dorothy Day and Amos A. Amonson.

Mom graduated from Wallace High School in 1959. After graduating, she was honored as a lifetime member of USAF Air Defense Team for her services as a ground force observer.

She then married and began having a family while holding several jobs in the medical field. During that time, she supported many of her children’s activities including: Camp Fire Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother for many years. She was instrumental in building and naming the Morehouse Memorial Field in Osburn. Mom volunteered in countless community service activities. After the children were grown, she pursued her higher education that included a bachelor’s in interdisciplinary and social science, and then continued working toward her master’s in psychology and counseling.

Mom enjoyed scrapbooking, camping, gardening, hunting, sewing, reading, researching her genealogy and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Allen Zeller; both of her parents and sister Marie Sevy. Survivors include her children, Julie (Brad) Murray of Rathdrum, Idaho, Curtis (Crystal) Zeller of Pinehurst, Idaho, Mick (Kerri) Zeller of Post Falls, Idaho, Robert “Boots” (Tammy) Zeller of Davenport, Wash., Liz (Shane) St. Mark of Rathdrum, and Valerie Matlock of Coeur d’Alene; her brothers, John (Linda) Amonson of Silverton, Idaho, and Dave (Connie) Amonson of Coeur d’Alene; as well as 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

At her request, there will be no service and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of North Idaho, The Schneidmiller House, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.
