Michael Henry Pearson, 23

Specialist Michael Henry Pearson, 23, born July 1, 1993, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed on to his hunting grounds on June 24, 2017. Beloved son to Michael D. and Marian Pearson.

He was a Priest River Alumni of 12 years that went on to college and received a degree in diesel mechanics and later joined the Idaho National Guard to support Bravo CO 145 BSB as a wield vehicle mechanic completing multiple missions to include a deployment to support and train the Romanian Military.

Lifelong hunter and lover of outdoors and family camping trips. Thank you to all of Bad Intentions, he was always looking for a reason to start a paint ball war with longtime friends and family and always asking, “what can I blow up next!” He was very outgoing and friends to all. If he shook your hand, you were his friend for life, always willing to help anyone in need and happy to ask for help when he got stuck in the mud.

Michael has left us, but will always live on in all our hearts. When you’re out and find yourself missing him, he will be stalking the wild herds of elk, chasing a herd of bucks, lying in wait for a trophy Tom.

On this Earth, he leaves behind his sister, Marie L. Hefner (Campbell); brother-in-law James Hefner; nephews Ethan Hefner and William Hefner; his grandparents, Michael O. Pearson, Janett Anselmo (Easley) and Leonore Andrews; great-grandparents Don Easily and Gerda Burk; uncles Butch Andrews, Steven Anselmo and families; aunts Erin Maier (Pearson) and family, Nicole Pearson, Carly Leavenworth (Pearson) and family, and Whitney Pearson; and girlfriend Brandi Malpica. Michael was preceded in death by great-grandparents Mike and Agnes Pearson; his grandfather, Technical Sergeant Charles Henry Andrews and his great-grandfather, Colonel Charles Samuel Burke.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, on his 24th birthday at Evergreen Cemetery, 681 Cemetery Road, Priest River, Idaho. There will be a potluck following the service. Please bring your own beverage and a chair.
