Gary Louis Coe, 73

Gary Louis Coe, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at his home in Post Falls, Idaho. He was born May 2, 1944, in Mullan, Idaho, to Lloyd and Mildred Coe.

Gary and his family moved to Post Falls in his early years where he continued his education. He became a pillar of the Post Falls community. He contributed to many projects that bettered Post Falls through its years of growth. Always willing to help a friend or acquaintance, gave far more than he ever received and was proud to have done so. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was the owner/operator of Ryco concrete since 1972 until his retirement in 2008.

He loved hunting, fishing and hanging around a campfire with his friends and family, helping others out and was always doing something for someone.

Gary leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Margie (Johnson) Coe; his sons, Barry Coe of Post Falls, Jeff (wife Judy) Coe of Hayden, Ryan Moore of Portland, Ore., and Kelly (wife Shauna) Moore of Post Falls; brother David (Janice) Coe of Coeur d’Alene; sister Betty Maki of Boise; sisters-in-law Kim Loushin (fiancé Courtney) of Newman Lake and Glenda Peters of Montana; grandchildren Ryan, Melanie, Jessica, Kyley and Ashlyn; great-grandson Benjamin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mildred; brothers Alden and Merle; and sisters Darlene and Shirley.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Real Life Church, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls. A potluck celebration of life to follow at The American Legion, 1138 E. Poleline Ave., Post Falls.
