ANNIVERSARIES

RB and Pat Arnn

70th Anniversary

Coeur d’Alene residents RB and Pat Arnn celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Floating Green restaurant on Lake Coeur d’Alene. High school sweethearts, they were married in Glendale, Calif., on June 20, 1947.

RB and Pat spent many years throughout the western U.S. where RB was a construction superintendent for multiple projects, finally building their first home in Coeur d’Alene in 1973. Some of the local construction firms RB worked for included Mooney & Pugh, H. Halverson, and his own company, Arco Builders.

They raised two sons, Rusty Arnn (Sheila) of Tri-Cities, Mark Arnn (Hope) of Coeur d’Alene and daughter Cheryl Arnn Hill (John) of Carmel, Calif. They have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, many of whom will be joining them this weekend to celebrate.

Congratulations RB and Pat, 88 years old and still in love!

After selling the business, they enjoy spending their time attending concerts, theater, opera, traveling and working on their farm. Most of all, they enjoy each other.

Their children are Michelle Townshend of Spokane, Monica Meckel of Coeur d’Alene and Laura Prado of Spokane. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild (all boys).
