Post Falls beach, boat launch opened Thursday

POST FALLS — The beach and boat launch at Q'emiln Park opened on Thursday.

There will be no lifeguards on duty at the beach until June 29. They will be on duty from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through the summer season.

All-day parking at the park is $5 for cars, $8 for boats and $10 for buses. Season car parking passes can be purchased for $15 for residents and $30 for non-residents at the recreation office at City Hall.

Parking booth hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.

There is no overnight boat moorage.
