Rideaux sought by authorities

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Robert Lee Rideaux.

Rideaux is being sought based on a Kootenai County felony warrant charging him with possession of stolen property; a King County, Wash. felony warrant for burglary; and a possession of stolen property warrant out of Pensacola, Fla. This is $30,000 bond warrant with U.S. extradition.

Rideaux, 41, is a 6-foot-3, 265-pound black male with brown eyes and brown hair. Rideaux was last known to be living in Washington.

The NIVCTF — consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Post Falls Police Department, Idaho Department of Correction and Bonner County Sheriff’s Office — is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives.
