NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Hayden Lake Recreational Water and Sewer District ("District") will hold a public hearing to consider any and all comments on a proposal to change the legal designation of the District from a "Recreational" water and sewer district under Idaho Code sections 42-3202A and 3202B, to conform to its new classification by omitting references to "Recreational". The reason for the proposed change is that the District no longer meets the criteria of a recreational sewer district. The District is also proposing to change its name and omit any reference to being a water district because the District no longer provides water services. The legal designation and name changes sought will reclassify the "Hayden Lake Recreational Water and Sewer District" to the "Hayden Lake Sewer District". Additionally, recreational sewer districts permit those who own land within the District to vote in its elections, even where the property owners are not residents of the District. Changing the legal classification from recreational to non-recreational status would permit only residents of the District to vote in District elections.
