Herbert L. Everitt, 71

Herb Everitt, 71, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, went home to be with the Lord suddenly Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was born Jan. 3, 1946, in Wallace, Idaho. He spent most of his years in Shoshone County, Idaho, and Spokane, Wash. Herb was honored to perform in the military in the Army serving in Vietnam.

Herb worked in the mines in the Silver Valley in his early years and then for several long-haul trucking firms in the area before his retirement. He developed and treasured a lot of meaningful friendships and was always willing to try to help someone in need. He loved Jesus and his family, and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and his beloved pets.

Herb is survived by his wife, Karen; two sons, Robert Everitt and Michael Everitt, both of Boise, Idaho; and four daughters by marriage, Teresa (Neil) Sheldon of Salt Lake City, Utah, Eileen (Bob) Roeh of Osburn, Idaho, Pamela (Paul) Hendzel of Dalton Gardens, Idaho, and Debra (Robert) Jaime of Post Falls, Idaho. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Herb’s celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Real Life Ministries, Bldg 1, in the Upper Room, 1866 N. Cecil Road (Highway 41), Post Falls.
