The Sweeplings featuring Cami Bradley to perform

| June 16, 2017 1:00 AM

The Sweeplings featuring Cami Bradley will perform a concert June 18 at 7 p.m. at the Kroc Center Theatre, 1765 Golf Course Road, Coeur d’Alene.

Tickets are $15/adults with $25 for limited premium seating which includes a chance to meet the artists after the show.

Bradley, a native of Spokane, gained national recognition as a contestant on “America’s Got Talent” in 2013, earning sixth place in the competition. Bradley impressed the judges with her rendition of Cher’s iconic song “Believe.” Now she performs with the Sweeplings along with singer-songwriter partner Whintey Dean.

“The Sweeplings make music that settles comfortably into the canon of classic American acoustic music, but their origin story couldn’t be more modern,” said a news release announcing the performance. “Whitney Dean and Cami Bradley have been writing together for just around two years, but the timelessness of their music belies the youth of their collaboration.

“Sonically, they approach each song as if writing for the screen. A swirl of melodies and harmonies bring you along on their journey, the sounds they craft at once giving rise to a myriad of mental imagery.”

The concert is presented by Laura Little Theatricals and the Salvation Army Kroc Center. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the scholarship program at the Kroc Center.
