Nina Lue Blan, 81

Nina Lue Blan, 81, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born June 26, 1935, in Mt. Judea, Ark., the daughter of Arnold and Marie (Agnes) Holt. She grew up in Mt. Judea and attended local schools.

She moved to California and worked as a waitress. Nina fell in love with Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and moved there in 1968 and worked as a waitress at Cedars Floating Restaurant and the Athletic Round Table Restaurant.

She met and married William Blan in 1988, living in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where she enjoyed fishing, gambling, Bingo and traveling. She also loved her precious family and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in California.

Survivors include: Husband Bill Blan; daughter Tammy Paul; son Gary Marian; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Donna Sue in Mt. Judea. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Arnold Holt Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
