HEROES: D-Day remembered

Amen to John Minden re: D-Day in Friday’s Press. These brave souls who landed on Normandy beaches should never be forgotten nor should we forget how many American men were lost to be forever left on French soil tended by the French. Another article in the Sports section is about Kaepernick who has not been signed to an NFL team. His not standing for our National Anthem is his right but is a slap in the face to those brave souls who served and lost their lives on D-Day and those throughout history who so bravely sacrificed their lives for those freedoms.
