Marjorie Ann (Hedgecock) Steg, 82

Marjorie was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, to Lucius and Martha Hedgecock (Southern) on Dec. 8, 1934. Marjorie entered into eternal rest June 10, 2017, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was a lifelong resident of North Idaho. She attended schools in Bonners Ferry.

In 1953, she moved to Sandpoint to marry her first love, Robert A. Steg, her husband of 58 years. The family moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1971 where she resided for the remainder of her life. Marjorie’s career and passion were her family. She was an amazing homemaker with an inviting home and her wonderful cooking and baking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2011. Marjorie is survived by daughters Pam Steg and Carol (Edward) Bogar; grandsons Kent and Brandon Bogar, and Jared Rippy; as well as her beloved cat, Muffy.

A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 2801 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
