Dover Bay Development is known for their diverse and beautiful waterfront community on Lake Pend Oreille. Now they’re taking their style and success into downtown Sandpoint.

Sandcreek Lofts at Sandpoint Marina has received its final site plan review approval and is slated to begin construction this fall. Dover Bay is taking reservations on 13-waterfront vacation rental-style lofts, with properties available for occupancy next year.

Incorporating a contemporary/marina classic look, Sandcreek Lots will include four levels, a private courtyard entryway, stress-free maintenance and easy access, off-street covered parking.

The one or two-bedroom vacation rentals are nestled alongside the Sandpoint Marina and feature one-of-a-kind views of the city and its gorgeous surroundings, including Trestle Creek, Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain Resort, depending on the unit. Open floor plans will complement the waterfront style and maximize views.

Landscaping and hardscaping on the lofts will enhance the streetscape charm and blend into Sandpoint’s historic beauty.

Homes on the boardwalk level range from 637 square feet to 990, prices ranging from $299,900 to $429,000. Lake Street level has a single bedroom, 645-square-foot property at $359,000 and a two-bedroom, 968-square-foot property for $429,000.

The third and fourth level properties range from 643 to 900 square feet with prices ranging from $359,000 to $439,000.

Additionally, there is still an option to combine two or more units to make a larger home on the property. For those looking for a three or four-bedroom home, now is the time to move forward with a reservation and sit down with Dover Bay designers to work out details and select your own finishes.

Sandcreek Lofts will utilize Dover Bay Property Management to handle maintenance and rental services. Homeowner’s Association fees are being worked out but should be limited. Duration of rentals can be flexible, with as little as single-day rentals allowed.

“The proximity to fine dining, downtown activities and the marina is a great amenity to these vacation rentals,” said John Sletager, vice president of Dover Bay Development.

Sandcreek Lofts are just steps from numerous restaurants, a variety of shopping venues, the historic Panida Theater, the Sandcreek boardwalk and surrounding walking trails, the infamous dog beach and numerous biking and hiking pathways. It’s also an ideal central location for Sandpoint’s many events and celebrations, including the Fourth of July fireworks.

The lofts are an ideal hub for wintertime activities as well, with Schweitzer Mountain Resort just 13 miles from downtown Sandpoint.

Over at the Dover Bay Waterfront Community, located just three miles from downtown Sandpoint, construction is underway on 100 additional slips at the community’s marina. Both residents and non-residents of Dover Bay properties can reserve a slip at the marina.

The overall Dover Bay Community includes several neighborhoods distinct in style, pricing and location, as well as resort like amenities including a full-service restaurant, outdoor heated swimming pool and spa, fitness center and much more. The community covers 285 acres of forest, lakes and open meadows, and features nine acres of beaches and park areas and nine miles of walking and bicycle trails.
