Hayden Business Expo set for
Wednesday, June 14
The Hayden Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend the third annual Hayden Business Expo from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday to learn about local businesses and services from more than 45 participating businesses and organizations. The Business Expo will be held at the former Sports Authority store located at the Silver Lake Mall at 200 W. Hanley Ave.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. Food samples will be available from seven local restaurants and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
North Idaho lenders and real estate
professionals receive Idaho Housing awards
More than 269 Coeur d’Alene area families became homeowners last year with assistance from 26 local housing professionals who recently received STAR Awards from the Idaho Housing and Finance Association. The Association presented the awards to 13 lenders and 13 real estate professionals for connecting these homebuyers to Idaho Housing’s affordable home loans.
“The great service these partners provided to area families last year represents a $48 million investment in the North Idaho community,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president and executive director of Idaho Housing. “We are proud to have worked with housing partners such as these for more than 40 years, helping more than 14,000 north Idahoans find and purchase homes while adding more than $1.3 billion to the local economy.”
The awards were presented Wednesday, June 7, during a luncheon at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
The following local lenders received STAR Awards for helping North Idaho homebuyers to obtain Idaho Housing home loans:
