Intermax

announces new hires and promotions

Intermax Networks announced three new team members and two internal promotions.

Shannon Atha, CPA has been hired as Intermax’s controller. An Idaho native, Atha joins Intermax from the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort and Hotel. She has held other management positions including those at Doctor’s Hospital Nelsonville and OhioHealth, both in Ohio.

Anita Parisot has joined the Intermax team as Chief Storyteller. With over 25 years of marketing and communications experience, Parisot came to Intermax having held marketing and communications positions at Hewlett-Packard in Boise and General Motors in Boise and Detroit, Mich.

Jeff Odland has returned to Intermax, having spent the last two years working with a technology integrator in Post Falls. Odland, a 30-year telecommunications industry veteran, will join the Business Development team focusing on commercial accounts.

Shea McHugh has been promoted to the position of security analyst. McHugh joined Intermax in 2016 as a member of the IT Managed Services team. She is an IT professional specializing in cybersecurity. She graduated in 2015 from North Idaho College with an associate’s degree in computer information technology.

Patrick Whalen, CISSP Emeritus has been promoted to chief technology officer. Whalen, previously of Resource Computing, merged his company with Intermax in 2015. Since that time, he has built a team of IT specialists who provide mission critical IT support and security strategy to Intermax clients.

Based in Coeur d’Alene, Intermax is the largest independent internet, voice, data, and IT managed services network provider in the Inland Northwest.
