Kevin L. Dorman, 58

Kevin L. Dorman, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away May, 26, 2017. Kevin was a beloved father, grandfather, fiancé, uncle and friend. Kevin lived in Hayden with fiancé, Connie Rathbone.

Born Dec. 8, 1958, to Bob and Delores Dorman in Wallace, Idaho, he grew up in Spokane, Wash., with his three brothers, Darwin, Loren and Keith Dorman. He graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1977 and went right into the Army to serve his country from 1977-1981.

Kevin’s adult life was spent in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where he became a pillar of the community with his shop of 27 years, Hitches Unlimited. Kevin loved fishing, boating, hunting, camping and building.

He is survived by his fiancé, Connie Rathbone; his son, Matthew; daughter-in-law Alissa; his grandchildren, Ethan and Jacob; brothers Darwin and Loren; many nephews and nieces; and his family and friends.

A memorial service for Kevin will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St. The family invites you to join them for a reception from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 209 E. Sherman Ave., Coeur d’Alene.
