TRUST: Goes both ways
AP, the Associated Press, or as I like to call them — America’s Pravda, had a front-page article Monday morning that began, TRUMP’S “WAR WITH THE MEDIA” RAISES QUESTIONS OF TRUST. I changed this to — The media’s war with Trump raises questions about the media’s trustworthiness.
Next, AP supposed that “Some Trump supporters will no doubt cheer the continued antagonism toward the media…” Antagonism toward the media? The media has gone after Trump like wild jackals from day one! The little darlings are just not used to anyone talking back.
Next, big-time lefty Dan Rather referred to Trump’s claims of media bias as “a deliberate propaganda campaign.” Isn’t this the very same claim Trump’s team has been leveling at the media? So, are we to assume that it’s OK for the media gander but not for the Trump team goose?
Next, about the crowd size — from the photos it looks like the Obama inauguration had larger crowds than Trump. Of course, AP did not mention that supporters of Obama and Hillary have been physically assaulting people, setting fires, breaking windows and threatening Trump supporters — who of course, are right to be concerned about their safety in public.
