Roberta ‘Bertie’ Lundblad, 76

Our beloved wife and mother, Roberta “Bertie” Lundblad passed into Heaven Jan. 17, 2017, after an extended illness. Bertie was born April 10, 1940, in Wallace, Idaho, to Dorothy and Richard Murray.

She spent her childhood in Wallace and in 1954 the family moved to Spirit Lake. She met the love of her life, “Bo” Lundblad and they were married on Sept. 20, 1960, after they graduated from Spirit Lake High School.

Bertie was a very kind-hearted soul who loved her family, her “kitties” and was always there to help anyone in need. She loved music, loved to cook, and loved to “dig in the dirt” and plant. She will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know her, including all the staff at Rose Terrace, who loved her and will miss her smile.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary “Bo” Lundblad; son Kevin Lundblad, wife Lisa, granddaughters Hailey and Hannah; daughter Kathi Sharp, husband Bill, grandsons Wesley (Kiaya) and Gary (Ellie), and great-grandson Rodney; sister DeeDee Giusti and husband Paul; and sister Pat. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggest that memorial gifts can be made to Auburn Crest Hospice, 1221 W. Ironwood Drive #102, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.

The family has requested no services be held for Bertie. Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care and final arrangements. Please visit Bertie’s memorial and sign her online guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
