DELAVAN: Good man gone

I can only classify the act of terminating Greg Delavan from his job at the airport as cowardly as both exiting commissioners only have a few days left on the job. I would like to ask both Dan Green and Marc Eberlein to come clean and tell us what massively important issue caused them to fire a man with only days left on their terms and leaving us constituents no way to hold them accountable for their actions.

My 14 years as an airport customer have been outstanding largely because of the hard work of the entire airport staff managed and led by Greg Delavan. The caveman management style exercised by both of these commissioners is despicable, and I hope that the incoming commissioners will see through this and reinstate Delavan to his position.

This is truly insulting to pull this action as Green runs out the doors of the County Admin building next week, and if there are future lawsuits and monetary awards that cost us taxpayers a bundle, we will remember who was responsible.
