TRUMP: Cause for excitement

I voted for Clinton, as did a majority of the nation vs. Trump last November. Ivanka Kushner had me on the fence but a coin toss gave it to Clinton. I will admit: Trump’s electrifying victory was amazing. You should find him giving his first speech after winning… he was overwhelmed. If a rich person is given a gift, very often it is not good enough. Well the presidency is a gift that is good enough for any rich man.

I’m very excited for America. What Trump brings to the table is a broader range of options on any given issue. If Clinton were president, she would limit her decisions to outcomes that are predictable. Trump starts from scratch on any problem and he is willing to take random bold steps to improve a situation.

He is a businessman. America needs a businessman, I’m sure you’ve heard that before. I can defend Donald Trump against my far left friends most of the time. His religion gets him into some sticky debates on abortion, but hopefully he was just playing to the religious right — a voting block he needed to win.

I am head over heels in love with the idea that Ivanka, Melania and so many other wonderful people will be our First Family. We dodged a major bullet as a nation, and I’m happy that Trump is handling his new power with such grace, style and smoothness.
